Japanese Michelin Stars
Japan ranks among the top countries with the most Michelin-starred restaurants. Inspired by this, a Russian development company teamed up with a Japanese restaurant operator to create a kaiseki dining experience—a traditional multi-course Japanese meal with modern twists.
This intimate yet luxurious restaurant aims to delight guests with exquisite cuisine and breathtaking views of the Moskva River.
Often considered the pinnacle of Japanese culinary art, kaiseki embodies the essence of Japan’s food culture. To capture its spirit, a Japanese architect rooted the design in traditional philosophy. The concept of Yin and Yang (harmony through contrast) inspired the light tones of the interior, while the principles of Gogyo (“The Five Elements”) influenced the choice of lines and materials. Decorative elements, including rock gardens, bonsai trees, and ikebana, enhance the ambiance.
The restaurant is divided into three functional areas, making it an ideal place to experience various Japanese cooking methods — raw, boiled, steamed, oil-fried, grilled, spit-roasted, and deep-fried. Guests will also have the unique opportunity to interact directly with the chef and watch the artistry involved in preparing and serving the diverse courses.
