Most luxurious residential developments with office spaces feature common areas that typically evoke images of blue and steel tones, glossy glass, and sleek marble.

However, IDEOLOGIST took a different path, focusing on something often overlooked: greenery and the tranquility of nature. While the intended skyscraper in Moscow City is currently on hold, the project remains adaptable.

IDEOLOGIST’s vision transforms the lobby into a fusion of high-tech solutions and modern architecture, complemented by the serene beauty of blossoming gardens and the gentle rustling of leaves. On the outside, the skyscraper is a monolithic and unfaltering structure, but inside, it becomes a vibrant “place of power” for its inhabitants.

Through the use of media screens with abstract geometry, mirrors, and sound and light effects, the lobby is envisioned as a “forest” that residents walk through to reach their apartments. This space features numerous shades of green, wood brown, and white. While actual plants are few, mirrored surfaces amplify their presence, creating an effect similar to a kaleidoscope. The “forest” can be tailored to reflect different seasons, ensuring the interiors remain dynamic and engaging for residents.

For the public office space, IDEOLOGIST team suggested creating a “park.” In contrast to the “wild nature” theme of the residential area, the park is designed to be tame and neutral, serving as an ideal setting for casual breaks, snacks, or business meetings in a relaxed atmosphere. Here, too, the number of live plants is minimal. The intended effect is achieved through the use of natural landscape-inspired architectural forms, geometry, and materials.

The proposal has been well-received by both the competition’s organizers and the developer, marking it as a noteworthy contribution to the design of the complex’s lobby.
