The private beach complex project was designed with the Japanese philosophy of space in mind, emphasizing functionality, aesthetics, and harmony with nature. The architectural solutions provide not only convenience but also resilience against natural forces such as the strong winds typical of the beachfront. Inspired by the shape of traditional Japanese “minka” houses, we opted for hipped roofs with wide overhangs that effectively withstand wind loads while maintaining both aesthetic appeal and structural reliability.

The complex consists of several buildings, each harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape. The area between the structures is covered with green lawns, which not only enhance the visual appeal but also provide comfort by preventing the ground from overheating, making it pleasant to walk even on hot days. This creates the feeling of a green oasis among the beach buildings, offering panoramic views of the sea where the sound of waves and the coolness of nature prevail.

The main house is equipped with a summer kitchen, allowing for the enjoyment of cooking with a panoramic ocean view. Nearby is a gym, offering the opportunity to maintain physical fitness outdoors while admiring the sea. A separate gazebo serves as a space for both children’s games and quiet adult meditation, creating an area for solitude and relaxation.

Special attention was given to ensuring free air circulation and creating shaded areas. The hipped roofs with wide overhangs protect from the sun and wind, while the walls are designed to maximize airflow, creating natural ventilation. Green plantings further shade the area between the buildings, adding coziness and defining zones for the comfortable leisure of all guests. The goal of the project was to create ideal conditions for relaxation, regardless of weather or individual preferences, in line with the Japanese philosophy of space where nature and architecture merge into one cohesive whole.
